OVERVIEW

With technological advancement, the demand for professionals in the automotive industry has increased. The industry will require innovative experts with advanced problem solving skills. Vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairing services are very important in the industry. This is essential to improve the lifespan and safety of vehicles on the road. Besides the servicing aspect, the automotive industry will need competent technologists who are concerning about its sustainability and development of technology. Is this programme for me? Are you ever so curious about cars that you just have to know how it was made? Then this should be the right course for you!

What will I learn?

This programme focuses on every aspect of vehicles such as the in-depth working mechanism and principle of various automotive systems, diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, safety issues and so on. You will be exposed to exciting opportunities to expand your studying experience especially during projects.

 

What should I expect?

You can expect a conducive environment with full facilities to start with. As you go along the journey, you will be exposed to extensive theoretical and hands on inputs and get to practice them during your industrial training. All you need to be is committed to not only learning, but also critical and creative thinking as well as to work independently as a technologist in judgments throughout decision making in automotive related problems.

What will I do & who will employ me?

This area of industry may involve working on all kinds of automobiles including cars, bikes, buses, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, fast vehicles, small vehicles, etc. The marketability is from car manufacturers, automotive tech companies, machineries industry down to service centers. Figuring out on how to adopt the latest technological changes and sustainability of automotive industry are examples of issues that you will encounter when you are in the workforce.

Graduates will be employed as: • Automotive Technologist • Executive Service Advisor Working in the: • Automotive Maintenance or • Manufacturing Sectors.
