March 07, 2020 - National College of Automotive Technology has participated in the Inauguration ceremony of Sindan City
NCAT has participated and organized for the inauguration ceremony of Sindan City project, The National College of Automotive Technology has supervised and organizer of three days of events which included different competitions related to Automotive Technologies. 

March 02, 2020 - NCAT signed MOU with DRB-HICOM University for Vocational Training  purposes
DRB-HICOM University should provide assistance to the College in the areas of: •    Curriculum Development •    Staff Exchange •    Advising on the maintenance and enhancement of the Vocational Education and Training standards of the College •    Sharing, where appropriate, library resources and cooperate in the development of library resources

March 02, 2020 - NCAT signed MOU with Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur.
The Infrastructure University KL will assist the National College of Automotive Technology in the management of the educational process, the development of academic programs, the training of academic staff members and scientific research. Infrastructure University KL also has support services and extensive learning resources that help our College to grow, develop and gain expertise to serve the quality of higher education in the Sultanate of Oman. It also assists the college in the curriculum development, follow-up and evaluation of the College academic performance, and the awarding of the University Certificates in Higher Education, Ordinary Degree, and Honors Degree.

March 02, 2020 - NCAT signed MOU with University of Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL) for affiliation
NCAT signed MOU with the University of Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL) for affiliation purposes. Both parties agree to exercise their best efforts to explore the possibility of future cooperation in the following areas:  •    Development and conduct of academic and professional training programs in areas of Bachelor of Eng. Tech. (Hons) in Automotive Maintenance, B.E.Tech. in Quality Engineering, B.E.Tech. in Business Management, Bachelor of Business Technology (Hons) in Automotive Management, Diploma of Engineering Technology in Automotive Maintenance  •    Exchange of academicians for the purposes of value-added study, training, and research; •    Exchange of students for the purposes of the value-added study, learning, and research; •    Joint research and teaching activities; and •    Other potential collaboration activities that benefit both institutions in the areas of academic, social and culture. .

October 29, 2019 - Participation “Your future decision” workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher education
The NCAT has participated and presented college programs and short courses “Your future decision” workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher education at MoHE head office. The workshop participates are educational sector professionals from the Sultanate of Oman.

October 16, 2019 - NCAT students affairs arranged an workshop called “My experience at NCAT.
“My experience at NCAT" workshop we seek to familiarize the trainees on the seats with the success stories of the graduates of the National College of Automotive Technology During the programs, they were introduced to a set of success stories and challenges facing the student on the seats of study and post-graduation and how the graduate who has the goal to achieve achievements in his life. This program aims to encourage students to acquire skills and continuous self-education and benefit from the experiences of others and contribute to building a broad-minded personality psychologically and be able to excellence in various fields of university life. We also aim to organize seminars to discuss issues of interest to students and how to adapt to them.

October 08, 2019 - Launch of the Bachelor program in mechanical engineering for cars at the National College of Automotive Technology
The first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National College of Automotive Technology was held at the headquarters of the National College of Automotive Technology for the academic year 2019/2020 under the chairmanship of Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hatmi and in the presence of the members of the Council. To accommodate new students during the next stage. The Council also took note of the Bachelor program in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile) based on the decision No. 13/6/2019 issued by the Commission on Licensing Institutions and Programs at the Ministry of Higher Education.
