Dean Office

Mr. Haji Al Balushi

The Dean/ Chief Executive Officer

Official speaker, and trainer in the field of vocational profession, administrative organization and has extensive experience in managing, regulating and supervising of educational and training institutions. He holds a master's degree in educational administration (Master of Arts) University of Bath-UK 2003.

He has more than 25 years experiences at the professional level and through that many range; from training, executive functions, supervisory and leadership in the areas of vocational education and training. His career experience extends in the quality control and assurance of training, he also worked in the field of studies and research in terms of manpower planning.

Began working in the public sector in 1981 as a vocational trainer, from 1989-1994 head of a mechanical department, curriculum specialist and then he moved to Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) holding the function of acting director for Omanisation and training in 1994 till 1997, and was re-appointed in the government sector in 1997 director of quality assurance and 2001 he was appointed the director for Planning and Study, between 2004-2014 he was the Director General of Vocational Training at the Ministry of Manpower.

Haji Al Balushi contributed significantly to the planning and development of higher education and vocational training institutions, in terms of their human resources development; and restructuring of vocational education; and the development of training facilities and updated equipment, also contributed to the improvement of the quality system of education and training at the local level, regional and global levels. He is highly experienced in educational management, change management, organization and people management, and he has basic skills and Knowledge about finance, accounting and marketing for educational and training establishments.

Mr. Zayed Musabah Obaid Al Saidi

Dean’s Office Manager

Mr. Zayed joined the college in February 2018 as a Dean’s office manager.  He has come from a highly experienced career background of Administration and Management level. He has held a diploma in Business studies from Technical college. Mr. Zayed has coordinated with various departments in the college included Leaners affairs department, Foundation program, Registration - Admission department, Learning resource & Library department.

 

Earlier Mr. Zayed has been worked as a Director of the office of undersecretary for Technological Education and Vocational Training, Ministry of Manpower. He is having more than 25 Years of professional experience for Administration and Management. Also, Mr. Zayed has participated as a member of the Ministry of manpower ’s delegation for many national and international training programs.

Mrs. Farida Al Zadjali

Marketing and Public Relations Acting Manager

Farida joined National College of Automotive Technology in December 2015. she manages all the College's marketing activities.

She has a rich portfolio of experience in business and marketing. Prior to joining NCAT, she worked in marketing field for 10 years in Omantel. In addition, she has a Diploma in Business and Administration from Technical college, a BA (Hons) in Business Administration (Marketing) from Majan College under the University of Bedfordshire, UK.
